Matt McGee Photography
Matt McGee discovered his passion for photography over a decade ago while using a camera in his career as a dentist. Combining this new found love of photography with a lifelong love of nature and all things aquatic - especially sharks - he began traveling the world to photograph marine wildlife, the beauty of the natural world, as well as different world cultures.
His photography has been published in a shark conservation calendar, and one of his hammerhead shark photos was recently chosen by the United Nations to be on a stamp bringing attention to endangered species. He often shares his love and respect for the ocean and its creatures through lectures where he shares his photographs and knowledge.
Matt shoots Canon 5D Mark 2 and 3, Canon 7D, and Canon L series lenses. His underwater rig is an Ikelite housing and strobes. He dives Scubapro regulators, Suunto D9 dive computer, and Henderson wetsuits.
