FAROE ISLANDS

The Faroe Islands are a small archipelago of 18 islands in the North Atlantic, that are actually a part of Denmark. The name means "sheep islands". These islands have many sheer cliffs that drop hundreds off feet straight down into the ocean. Traveling through this land gives you the feeling of walking through the pages of a fairy tale. The weather conditions here can be quite brutal with wind and rain being common, but this makes for really moody landscape photography , and that's what I've attempted to create in the images below.
