I first learned about Nepal from my father in law who is an avid mountaineer. The Himalaya mountainsseemed beautiful and intimidating, but it was the culture and the people that stayed with me. My time in the Kathmandu Valley was filled with rich architecture, spirituality, and smiling faces (even though a lot in these photos look stern.) The photos below were my attempt to capture the feeling of being in this extraordinarily beautiful country and it's kind people.
